Chris and I

I thought you guys might want to actually see a picture of Chris and I. We’ve been posting pictures of the families, but not of us in the area. So, here are a few for you. The first two are from Judy. She was taking some pictures of us taking pictures. The first island family portraits. cimg6465.jpgThe second island family portrait, a little more progressive. resizeofdsc_0207.JPG Here is one of us that our friend Shopping took. More on him later. I love this picture of us taking a little break after a long day of boat rides and shooting. Not looking too bad for the third day without washing hair! Ahh! : )    001blog.jpg

Hey guys,

I found your website through Jon and Marisa Foltz’s blog. I served with them this summer in Thailand, when I led a 6-week missions trip there with a group of students. Also, the Foltzes will soon be working with me for Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of Arkansas, which I’m really excited about.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I loved your pictures of the Thai islands. We did Tsunami relief there for a week during our trip. Some of the students from the trip also saw your pictures and loved them. I was wondering whether there’s any way to see some of you guys other pictures from there. Please let me know.

Thank you.

I’ve been thinking about what you must be feeling during this trip. You’re capturing AMAZING images. These families must have so many mixed feelings about what you’re doing there. The images from the last post are spectacular! You can feel their story from the look in their eyes. I loved both the black and white and the color!

It’s good to see you both smiling and well. And Katie you look great for not washing your hair in 3 days!!! I did the same thing in Africa and ya know it wasn’t a big deal at all. It’s still gross, but nobody cared. LOL…! Your smiles say it all…!

May God continue to bless your travels with His hand on you, unforgettable moments and of course good health. Love your updates!

~ Dawn
