With the end of the year coming we know that many of you might be looking for a non-profit for donating. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get this ready for all of you.
Our vision with Recapture is “to document the lost history of those affected by natural disasters by capturing their lives in portraits. That will instill family legacy and story, which will encourage self-worth and value.”
We have trips planned in the next year to help replace the lost legacy of families effected by disaster. This cannot happen without the support of those who believe in this cause. We are planning a trip to Galveston, Texas to help hurricane victims as well as looking into other international trips.
Anyone who has talked to us in depth about Recapture knows our heart behind it and what a passion it is to us. As with any non-profit we are only limited by funding and time. Funding is something that we need your help with. We have two ways of giving to this cause. One is by simply donating a contribution and the other is by the ability to purchase prints from our previous trips. You have the choice between post cards, signed and mated prints and framed prints.
In a year where we are all searching for unique gifts, this is a great gift idea for those who have everything or for those who have a philanthropic heart. Please let us know if you have any questions about the process. We’d be more than happy to help.
Please go to the “Support Us” tab above for more information on how you can be a part of this organization. Here you will find ways to donate and to go to our store
Thank you!

As we are nearing the end of the year, I thought I would share this slideshow. It has highlights of some of the images from our trip to Thailand. Some the images you will recognize others are new. Also, the music featured is traditional Thai music. I might just drop a few more pictures from time to time and will explain the marvel of the story behind them. I hope you enjoy it!
